A golden night: our 50th anniversary celebration at Villa Passerini

There are evenings that remain etched in the memory like precious jewels, and the one on our fiftieth anniversary was just that: a blend of emotions, memories, and gratitude.

In the splendid setting of Villa Passerini in Cortona, at 7 pm sharp, the dancing began —literally— with a welcome show that welcomed all the guests in a magical atmosphere. The dancers, with their elegance and grace, kicked off an evening designed to celebrate half a century of history, work, and goldsmith passion.

Soon after, we all gathered in the villa’s large lawn for the group photo: a simple but deeply valuable moment. In that collective shot there was everything — the past, present and future of our company, the faces of those who every day contribute to making it what it is.

The route to the vineyard was an evocative experience. Before reaching it, a water stage with a suspended platform in the center awaited us, where the dancers of the initial show themselves gave a second performance, even more poetic and luminous. The lights reflected off the water, creating an almost surreal atmosphere, a perfect prelude to the most convivial part of the evening.

The aperitif took place in the villa’s vineyard, immersed in the rows and the scent of the earth. Each table revealed a fragment of our identity: amidst glasses and laughter, guests found illustrated postcards with our most iconic items, a symbol of the creative and artisanal journey that has accompanied us for fifty years. It was beautiful to see how every object, every detail, managed to evoke a story, a memory, a person.

When we moved inside the villa for dinner, the atmosphere became more intimate and intense.

The most exciting moment of the evening came with the words of Dario, our longtime CEO, who read a letter dedicated to his employees. His sentences, filled with gratitude and affection, moved everyone. It was clear to each of us that behind the success of the company are the people — their dedication, their hands, their heart.

And after, the children of Marcello, the other administrator and co-founder, who passed away in 2020, spoke. With emotion and pride, they remembered the figure of the father and his indelible contribution to the growth of the company. Then, in a moment of great sweetness, Dario’s daughter addressed her father with words full of esteem and affection, closing a circle of love and gratitude that crossed the entire room.

The cake cutting took place outside the villa, under the warm evening lights. Dario, surrounded by colleagues, friends, and family, cut the 50th anniversary cake to applause and smiles. It was a moment of pure joy, followed by the exchange of gifts: the employees wanted to give a special thought to the board of directors and Dario, while the administrators reciprocated with a personalized gift for each individual employee, a gesture that made tangible the human and mutual value that has always bound us.

The evening ended with music, cocktails and dancing until late at night. Between laughter and toasts, the villa has transformed into a small golden world, made up of authentic emotions and memories that will remain over time.

That night we celebrated not only our 50 years of activity, but everything that made them possible: the passion for goldsmith art, the attention to detail, the strength of the group and the trust that has bound us for generations.

It was the most beautiful way to say thank you —to those who have been, to those who are, and to those who will be — for these first fifty golden years.
