Our story begins 50 years ago, in the heart of the goldsmith district of Arezzo.
In the 70s, the 2 founders of the company, Dario Micheli and Marcello Parri, started a small goldsmith’s workshop near their home, drawing on the experience gained in the gold and silver sector of theproduction of semi-finished gold products and goldsmithing.
From here, a few years later, in ’75, Quadrifoglio SPA was born.
Thus began a story of extraordinary Italian entrepreneurship which, over time, has transcended its humble origins to become a true icon in the Italian goldsmith industry.
Since then, many things have changed, and that laboratory with just a few employees has transformed into a real industry that produces thousands of pieces every year for the best luxury brands all over the world.
The company is made up of over 80 of the best goldsmiths in the area, and has a considerable production capacity.
1984: The Castiglion Fiorentino production unit is born
In the early 1980s, company growth was evident. In December 1984, the decisive turning point materialized with the transfer of the headquarters and production unit to the industrial area of Castiglion Fiorentino in the Province of Arezzo.
A new phase began, which saw the transition from an artisan workshop to a much larger structure, preparing the ground for the ambitious future it would embrace.
Dario and Marcello had a far-sighted vision, and together with their new collaborators they decided to invest in cutting-edge machinery and hire talented designers to keep up with market trends and customer requests.
Despite its growth, Quadrifoglio always maintains its principles: respect for people, the environment, craftsmanship and the quality of workmanship.
1990s: 4 specialized companies
During the 1990s, new challenges and opportunities emerged.
The progenitor “Il Quadrifoglio” is joined by new highly specialized companies. One is dedicated to the production of chains, a pillar still today among the most requested products.
Others focus on the production of goldsmith machinery and the trade of semi-finished products abroad.
This diversification demonstrates Quadrifoglio’s ability to adapt and grow in response to changing market dynamics.
From 2000 to Today: Quadrifoglio S.P.a..
The Birth of Quadrifoglio SpA. The new millennium marks a unique chapter in the history of Quadrifoglio.
In 2001, the four specialized companies converged into a single entity: Quadrifoglio SpA.
This merger consolidates the company’s position in responding to the demands of an increasingly demanding market, both locally and in a competitive context on a global scale.
In 2018, Quadrifoglio looks to the future with a sustainable perspective.
The building is expanded, with space dedicated to new generation CNC controlled machinery.
This step not only highlights the company’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies, but also reveals the prospect of expanding production and investing in sustainability.
Quadrifoglio, from a small laboratory to a cutting-edge company, continues its journey, combining tradition and innovation in the heart of goldsmithing.
