The Awards Ceremony of #CreateYourLove, the jewelry and goldsmithing competition of Gold Italy 2017, the event managed by Italian Exhibition Group, now in its 5th edition, has successfully concluded.
An evocative moment for the most glamorous event of the show that celebrated the excellence of Made in Italy jewelry, goldsmithing and silverware, inspired by the common thread and concept of this edition, the circle.
Twenty-seven companies involved in the #CreateYourLove contest, from all over Italy, challenged each other starting from the circle, a key element of the “sinacole,” necklaces composed of low gold spheres used by mothers and nannies as early as the 1600s to enchant children with their sounds and shapes. Designers from exhibiting companies were invited to create a necklace that, in an aspirational way conveyed a feeling related to love and infinity by referring to the concept of “timelessness” and “forever.”
With #CreateYourLove, Gold Italy wanted to emphasize jewelry with a strong emotional content, inspired by the circle that, thanks to its highly symbolic perfection, evokes the concept of absolute and infinite.
#CreateYourLove presented to the international audience of insiders, Italian and international media, exclusive creations in an “ad hoc” set-up that for the occasion became a prestigious stage for the “great Italian beauty.” Trendy and fashionable necklaces, of design but also of high jewelry, interpreted in total freedom, without temporal references and without referring to any scheme were designed to follow the personality of the woman who wears them.
An exceptional jury, composed of journalists, stylists, trend setters, and specialists in the world of fashion and fashion style, chaired by Beppe Angiolini, Art Director of Gold Italy and honorary president of the National Chamber of Fashion Buyers, chose the jewelry and goldsmith creations deemed most original, thus decreeing the winning jewelry of the contest and the winners of the different prize categories.
